About The Ride
This year with addition
of the new board
member, Andy Fingerhut,
and his expertise running bike-a-thons, the Enright Foundation
is sponsoring its first Enright Health TREK 2009.
The profile of the Enright Health TREK rider is diverse. Some riders are
competitive cyclists, some are weekend athletes, and yet others have little
or no previous cycling experience. Yet they all share a common goal – to
support the Enright Foundation. And it is with the energy, commitment and inspiration of each
rider that we will reach our goal.
Enright Health TREK 2009
riders ride for their family,
ride for their friends
and ride because
they can.
About the Enright Foundation
Joe Enright was an internal medicine physician at the Summit Medical Group.
After only 4 short years in Practice in Summit, he passed away from malignant
melanoma in 1996 at the age of 37. In 1999, a group of his friends and colleagues
formed the Joseph E. Enright Foundation, a nonprofit organization, in order to
promote health related causes in the community in his name.
Our focus at the Enright Foundation is "Health Through Education". Since
2004, we have offered twice yearly Health Scholarships to students pursing a
career in the field of healthcare. In addition, our Community Lecture Series
and other medical education programs have attracted audiences from throughout
northern and central New Jersey. We are currently working on several partnerships
with area organizations so that we might expand our opportunities to provide better
"Health Through Education" in our community. |
